We stayed for a night after Christmas en route to Sydney from Brisbane. It was fabulous. The motel is set in a historic building that feels much more like a quaint B&B than it does a motel. Rena and Ziggy were lovely, and the service (including breakfast) was great. It’s also well-located near the waterfront and shops. We will absolutely stay again when we are in town!

The hosts, Rena and Ziggy are delightful. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are well appointed and spotless. We also had a room with a view of the river. Just a stroll down the hill to the walk around the water in both directions. We highly recommend this place for a moderately priced stay and a perfect halfway stop off between Sydney and Brisbane.

Such a lovely welcome surprise! Wonderful historic building with large rooms and lots of character. The managers are extremely friendly and helpful, and the building is a short walk to the river. Looking forward to staying here again soon

Stayed here on our way back from Brisbane. Brilliant! The motel is an older style, lots of timber. But absolutely immaculately cared for and very clean. Rooms were modern (despite the 1930s look) and the beds were very comfortable. The owners were wonderful people. Very attentive and accommodating. Breakfast was included, which was a bonus. Very reasonable price. I'll certainly be back, maybe stay for a week or so next time.

We arrived at Riverview Boutique full of excitement and left completely satisfied. The building is truly beautiful and charming in every aspect. First time staying at this bed and breakfast, lovely spacious rooms more feels like a home than a hotel, free breakfast offered to your room if you don't want to spend money at a cafe! Amazing views from your little balcony, is a nice central spot within the city centre and other focus spots. Would recommend again, caring and friendly staff.

Our stay at the Riverview Boutique Motel was simply wonderful. The place stands out for its charm, history, and above all, its exceptional hosts. They are incredibly warm, helpful, and genuinely care about their guests, providing outstanding and thoughtful service. The motel is lovingly decorated and offers plenty of useful information about the surrounding area. The delicious breakfast each morning was the perfect way to start the day. A place with heart and soul — truly deserving of 5 stars.
